Resumo

As the world transitions toward sustainable energy solutions, the integration of renewable energy technologies in civil engineering projects is becoming increasingly important. This article explores the role of renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind, and geothermal, in the design, construction, and operation of infrastructure. The integration of renewable energy not only reduces dependence on fossil fuels but also contributes to the reduction of carbon footprints, enhances energy efficiency, and promotes long-term sustainability in the built environment. The paper discusses key strategies for integrating renewable energy systems into civil engineering projects, including site selection, energy storage, and system optimization. It also highlights successful case studies and the future potential of renewable energy in shaping resilient infrastructure.
