As the first U.S. omnibus privacy law, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is bound to influence the U.S. and global development of privacy law. Felix Glocker analyzes the CCPA and compares it in detail with the GDPR. In addition, he develops a legal transplant for the highly controversial problem of paying with your personal data for a revision of the GDPR.
